We contacted Sankara Eye Foundation because of its focus on eye-care surgeries, a program we find promising.1 We did not complete a full review because Sankara Eye Foundation declined to fully participate in our review process. On September 12, 2011, Sankara Eye Foundation emailed us indicating that they are interested in participating in our review process in the future. At that time, we could no longer include Sankara in our 2011 round of research but intend to reconsider them in 2012.
